With over 35 years experience, Complete Excavation can perform every aspect of earthwork there is. Having completed over 500 new homes and multiple commercial/industrial excavations, we have established the highest standard of quality making our customers call us first with all their future needs. With our experience and knowledge, we work with builders, owners, surveyors, engineers and town authorities to help design and perform the project plan to exact specifications.

These excavations include every facet from start to finish including all of the following:

  • Attributed permitting - We can apply for permits needed and schedule the inspections for any of the work directly related to our service.


  • Soil Testing - Residential soil testing that is needed for septic, drainage, or foundation designs—B100(a)


  • Erosion control - We can install all silt fence, haybale, check dams etc. that are needed to control the site water runoff.


  • Site Clearing - Complete Excavation has relationships and works closely with local tree clearing companies to mark trees, to save and/or remove based on your project. We then can remove stumps, clean up and remove to approve sites. Any small trees or property cleanup is done with our small machine which we can mulch the brush in place or even over fences. This is an attachment for a mini excavator which makes your brush and small tree into mulch.


  • Mass cut and fills - If serious grading, deep elevation cuts or import of fill is needed, we have it all covered with all the heavy equipment and resources needed.


  • Foundations - We are well versed in every foundation excavation from elevation changes, rock removal, wet soils and preparing for the concrete foundation contractor.


  • Driveways, and Parking Lots - Preparing a driveway base is the key. We take care in preparing every heavy traffic area from using the correct type of material and compacting the area so it will last.


  • Drainage, Catch Basins, Culvert Pipes Curtain Drains, Septic Installations, Sewer Pumps, Sewer Lines, Underground utilities (electric, phone, cable, water, and sewer etc.),


  • Modular Retaining walls - Our knowledge of retaining walls over the years has grown to encompass almost every type of retaining wall sold. From Large Block Walls (ex Recon Wall Systems) to Small Block Walls (ex Nicolock Walls) we can do it all. If needed, we have relationships with structural engineers to help design and certify every wall to satisfy town authorities.


  • Site grading, Finish grading, Raking & Seeding and Landscaping. Complete Excavation can provide the equipment and personnel to make any building project come together.


  • Rock, Ledge, Concrete Removal - We have hydraulic breakers (hammers) in different sizes for every need. If the hydraulic hammering is not enough, we work with companies that specialize in blasting rock. We also have networks of haulers and sites to remove rock and concrete debris.


  • Foundations for additions and detached garages - Using our own concrete forms, Complete Excavation can excavate, set forms, pour foundation, backfill and finish grade. Typically taking 7-10 days and the foundation is ready for framing.
